Park, woods and sculpture
Rozelle Park
Woodland, rhododendron walks, a pond, sculpture trails and two free galleries, given to the public in 1968.

After Ayr sold the lands of Alloway in 1754 to clear its debts, Robert Hamilton acquired Rozelle and named it after one of his plantations in Jamaica. The estate was gifted to the public in 1968.
Look for Ronald Rae's granite sculptures behind the house, the Remembrance Woodland with its chainsaw carvings, and willow sculptures by David Powell. The Rozelle Tearoom at the back of the house serves lunch and home baking.
