Park, gardens and golf
Belleisle Park
A deer park, walled garden, play park, woodland walks and two James Braid golf courses.

Belleisle, like Rozelle, was created after Ayr sold the lands of Alloway in 1754. Today it has a deer park, a well-equipped play park, woodland walks and a formal walled garden. Paths lead on through Doonfoot to the mouth of the River Doon.
Golf South Ayrshire runs two 18-hole public courses here, designed by James Braid. The clubhouse cafe and toilets are open to everyone.
