Ayr's public pool by the harbour: a 25 m six-lane pool, a teaching pool and a diving pool with a moving floor.
The centre opened in 1997 at the mouth of the river. Its pools are a 25 m, six-lane main pool, a shallow teaching pool and a flexi pool with diving boards and a moveable floor. It is the town's only public swimming and diving pool.
The main hall, 34 by 27 metres, hosts five-a-side, basketball, volleyball, badminton and more, as well as concerts, fairs and election counts. There is parking on site.
