The quickest way in is the online referral form on the council's website. The team replies within 7 working days to arrange help.

It also runs drop-in sessions in Ayr and other towns, listed in a monthly calendar, and a video drop-in on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

If you have no money for essentials, food or heating, the team points you to a crisis grant from the Scottish Welfare Fund first.
